Seamless Summer Option (SSO)
We are pleased to announce that Connections Public Charter School will once again participate in the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program. This program ensures that all children in our community have access to nutritious meals during the summer months when school is not in regular session.
- Dates: June 1, 2026 - July 16, 2026 (Closed 6/11/26 for Kamehameha Day)
- Meal Service Days: Monday through Thursday
- Meal Times: Breakfast 7:00 am to 9:00 am, Lunch 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

All children ages 18 and under are welcome to receive meals at no cost. No registration or application is required. The SSO program is part of our commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our students and the broader community. We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure children continue to receive healthy, balanced meals throughout the summer. Information
Connections Public Charter School announces that it will be providing free school breakfast (7:30am-9:00am) and lunch (11am to 12:30pm) during its Summer Program, from June 9 - July 17, 2025, at 174 Kamehameha Avenue in Hilo, Hawaii.
The meals will be available to any individual 18 and younger. For students who may need special accommodations, please call (808) 961-3664. The Seamless Summer Option is a Federal program that supports children with food service when the school system is out for the regular school year. Other Locations Providing Free Summer Meals.
