| Charter school march - Some three dozen
persons representing Connections Public Charter School, in the Kress
Building, and Ka 'Umeke Ka'eo, on the Keaukaha Elementary campus,
marched Wednesday from downtown Hilo to the state building in support
of equal funding for public charter schools. Parents, teachers,
students and administrators picketed briefly on the Aupuni Street side
of the state building before sending in a delegation to present a
